In compliance with Google Play Developer Policies and data protection regulations, Rent A Home (by Exceptionz) provides users with the right to request permanent deletion of their account and all associated personal data.

This policy explains how you can request account deletion, what data will be deleted, and what data may be retained for legitimate legal purposes.

WHAT DATA WILL BE PERMANENTLY DELETED

When your account deletion request is processed, the following information will be permanently purged from our active systems:

• User Profile: Full name, email address, mobile number, profile photo, and role information.
• Property Listings: All property listings, photographs, videos, and descriptions posted under your account.
• Chat Messages: In-app messaging history, attachments, and conversations with other users.
• Saved Listings & Search Preferences: Bookmarked properties and customized search filters.
• Verification Documents: Any uploaded government ID or electricity bill copies uploaded for KYC verification.

WHAT DATA MAY BE RETAINED

Certain limited transaction records and subscription logs may be retained for up to 7 years solely to satisfy statutory accounting, tax, and GST reporting obligations under Indian law, or to resolve open legal disputes. These retained records are strictly archived and never used for marketing or commercial purposes.

HOW TO REQUEST DATA DELETION

You may request deletion through any of the following methods:

Method 1: Inside the Mobile Application

Open the Rent A Home app > Go to Profile > Tap Request Data Deletion > Select your reason and confirm. Your request will be recorded immediately.

Method 2: Online Deletion Request Form (Web)

Fill out the form below with the email address registered with your Rent A Home account. Our team will verify and process your request within thirty (30) days:

You may also email us directly at exceptionz13@gmail.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and include your registered email address.

PROCESSING TIMELINE

Deletion requests are verified and processed within thirty (30) days of receipt. Once your account is deleted, you will receive a confirmation email and will no longer be able to log in or recover your listing data.
